Botswana Card Game

Description

Animal Collecting Strategy Card Game by Reiner Knizia & 25th Century Games, Ages 7+, 2–5 Players, 20–30 Min Playtime

This game is one of those ‘painfully simple’ Reiner Knizia games. There are five different animal meeples and animal fur pattern cards, zero through five, in each of the colors. The cards are dealt out, and then players take turns playing a card and taking any available animal piece. When one color has all six cards played on it, then the game is over, and players use the last card played in each category to value their animal meeples. The highest total value wins.

Capture stunning African wildlife in Botswana, a strategic card and collection game where players compete to photograph animals and maximize points in fast-paced turns.

Includes 25 beautifully crafted wooden animal figures and vibrant artwork, enhancing the tactile and visual experience for families, casual gamers, and board game enthusiasts.

Unique card mechanic: the last card played for each species determines its final value, creating tense, strategic decisions and dynamic gameplay every round.

Quick-to-learn rules and 20–30 minute rounds make Botswana perfect for family game nights, casual play, and on-the-go entertainment, offering accessible yet strategic fun.

Designed by Reiner Knizia, this engaging collection and card game challenges players to outthink opponents, optimize their turns, and capture the winning snapshots.
